Our philosophy is simple: to create high-quality products. This has been our secret since 1964, handed down from ‘Grandpa Pietro,’ who ran a small family butcher’s shop in the heart of the Alps, in Mazzo di Valtellina.
Even today, we work meticulously and patiently, with methods reserved only for the most precious things.
We are custodians of this tradition and it is our duty to preserve the art of meat processing which is passed down from generation to generation.
Now, as we look to the future, we are aware of a changing world, but our values remain deeply rooted here in the mountains, among the aromas of our childhood that have shaped us.

Today, Salumificio Bordoni skillfully blends its artisanal origins, rooted in ancient recipes, with the most innovative processing plants: the result is a high-quality product, with tailored ingredients and packaging.
The technological update has enabled us to achieve fully robotic production, leaving the staff with tasks such as mixing the spices of our secret recipe.
Today Salumificio Bordoni is a member of the Consorzio di Tutela Bresaola della Valtellina and sells its products in Italy and abroad, with particular attention to new markets, always guaranteeing respect for different religious and cultural beliefs.

Salumificio Bordoni is located in Mazzo di Valtellina, at the foot of the mountains, in an area characterised by a cool, dry, and well-ventilated climate.
Thanks to a modern packaging and shipping system, Bordoni products can quickly reach all sales points from the Valtellina factory.
In this way, new relationships are forged with Italian and foreign companies, expanding Bordoni’s presence across an increasingly wider territory, spanning from Canada to Saudi Arabia.
